Resident Care at Magnolia Terrace

Excellent resident care begins with our Director of Medical Services, Dr. Larry Leone. His specialty is geriatrics, and he has been our medical director for over 5 years. He makes regular rounds at our facility to evaluate and update the residents’ needs, and is also on-call for emergency needs. Our management team includes an RN and 2 LPN’s with over 75 years of combined experience.

Our facility goes beyond the state requirements for licensed assisted living facilities. The state of Ohio requires a licensed nurse to be in the facility for 20 hours per week, but we choose to provide licensed nurses on the floor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The state allows a nursing assistant with a pharmacology class to administer treatments and medications, but we believe our residents deserve the highest standards of nursing care. Therefore, medications and treatments are administered by licensed nurses. They can also do a follow-up evaluation on all medications and treatments for effectiveness. The nursing assistants (on all 3 shifts) in our facility provide the highest level of personal care.

Before you make your choice, compare the levels of care and quality of services.
