Magnolia Terrace History

Located in Galion, Ohio, Magnolia Terrace opened its doors in 2002 when our lifelong Galion area owners, Mike Flick, Gary Flick and Craig Miley, recognized the need for the aging members of our community. We started out with just 16 units.

Word spread of our fantastic facility and demand grew for more units. In 2003, we added 16 additional efficiency and suites. By 2007, we heard the call for couples in our community needing a place to live out their golden years. We answered by building out our 1- and 2- bedroom unit section of the facility.

Finally, in the fall of 2010, we opened our newest addition which included 16 efficiency and 1- bedroom units. At the same time, we added one of our most popular areas in the facility, an ice cream/soda parlor. This area is complete with retro furnishings that include a booth, table & chairs, popcorn machine and jukebox. In addition to the ice cream/soda parlor, this area features a big screen TV with surround sound and theater chairs.

At Magnolia Terrace, we take great pride in the fact that we are independently owned and operated. We are not owned by a larger corporation that just oversees day to day operation like other elderly care facilities in Central Ohio. Unlike most facilities you see today, our main focus is not to maximize profits, and sacrifice resident comfort and care.
